Quiet Place Cottage is located in the beautiful Wisconsin-Michigan boarder town of Land O’ Lakes. Tucked away against the backdrop of a small, secluded Northwoods lake, the cottage offers you all of the conveniences of home with all the adventure of a Wisconsin vacation right outside your door.
 

During your stay, you’ll enjoy every amenity. Beautifully decorated, this comfortably appointed cottage sleeps 4-6. The interior of the cottage is warm & inviting with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well-stocked with anything you might need and all linens, towels and paper products are provided. Indoor entertainment includes wireless internet, Dish TV and a movie library as well as board games & puzzles, a toy box and an X-Box 360. Outdoors, relax in a rocker on the covered front porch, enjoy the lake view off the deck, and watch the sunset give way to a spectacular display of stars as you sit around the campfire with family & friends.



​Fish the private lake. ​​ A canoe, a paddle boat, as well as kayaks are provided with your stay. Or, bring your own boat and access one of the hundreds of lakes awaiting you nearby…including the famous Cisco Chain and Lac Vieux Desert.

Enjoy miles & miles of fantastic paved bike trails through the Northwoods. Trail access is just outside your door and two comfort cruiser bikes are provided. The trails are exhilarating, with towering white pines and pristine lake views. Bike to the beach, stop for lunch on the trial and enjoy the beautiful forest views. And for the more adventurous, an extensive mountain bike & ATV trail system is only a few minutes away. ATV rentals are available in town with trail access right from the cottage.



Spend a lovely day outdoors in nearby Ottawa National Forest. Pack a picnic lunch and head over to Imp Lake. Visit beautiful Bond Falls or the mysterious Paulding Mystery light. Canoe the Sylvania Wilderness lakes or kayak down the Ontonagon River. Local outfitters will be happy to assisit you in planning your day.

 

Head down to nearby Eagle River where you'll find all sorts of family activities including horseback riding, a children's museum, an unforgettable pirate ship cruise through the Eagle River chain, mini-golf and much more. And there's plenty of fun for the adults as well... with antiquing, a 4-star golf course, fine dining, a casino, and specialty shops.



Incredible beauty awaits you once the snow begins to fall. The Land O’ Lakes area is home to some of the best snowmobiling in the country with an extensive, well-groomed trial system. Trails are easily accessed right from the cottage. Cross-country skiing is another favorite activity in the Northwoods, as well as down-hill skiing, skating and sledding.
